This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation programs and ERP implementation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data migration strategy, data analysis, data cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration execution across multiple SAP functional areas.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, data owners, and technical teams to ensure the successful migration of high-quality data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA while minimizing business disruption and ensuring data integrity.

Data Migration Strategy & Planning

Define and execute end-to-end SAP data migration strategies.

Develop migration plans, timelines, and cutover activities.
-
Assess source systems and identify migration requirements.
-
Support data governance and migration readiness activities.
-
Analyze legacy data structures and business requirements.
-
Define data mapping rules between source and target systems.
-
Identify data transformation and enrichment requirements.
-
Collaborate with functional teams to validate business rules.
-
Support data profiling and quality assessments.
-
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and duplicates.
-
Drive data cleansing activities with business stakeholders.
-
Validate migrated data against business and technical requirements.
-
Execute migration activities using:

SAP Migration Cockpit

LSMW (where applicable)
-
ETL and migration tools
-
Perform mock loads, test migrations, and production migrations.

Monitor migration performance and troubleshoot issues.

Support cutover and go-live migration activities.

Support data migration testing cycles.

Reconcile migrated data and resolve discrepancies.

Provide hypercare and post-go-live support.

Maintain migration documentation and audit trails.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of SAP Data Migration experience.

Minimum 2 SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
