 Perficient is hiring a Salesforce Solution Architect to help shape the future of AI-powered customer experiences. This highly visible, client-facing role is ideal for a consultative Salesforce leader located in the Midwest region and requires travel to Detroit, Michigan, approximately once per month for 2 to 4 days to support client engagements, workshops, strategic planning sessions, and solution delivery activities. You'll partner with leading clients to design and deliver innovative solutions leveraging Salesforce Core, Agentforce, and Data Cloud, serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, and lead transformational initiatives from strategy through implementation. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce expertise with exceptional consulting skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence business and technical leaders while driving measurable outcomes for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for leading the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions across multiple engagements. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Core, Agentforce, and Data Cloud, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Success in this position requires exceptional consulting skills, executive presence, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and experience leading clients from strategy through implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Own and aggressively drive forward specific areas of Salesforce technology architecture.
  • Architect enterprise solutions leveraging Salesforce Core, Agentforce, and Data Cloud capabilities.
  • Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for Salesforce platforms and related technologies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic consulting and guidance aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead discovery sessions, design workshops, and executive-level presentations with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements and develop scalable solutions.
  • Lead project and solution estimation efforts and define delivery team structures.
  • Develop proof-of-concept projects to validate new architectures and emerging technologies.
  • Support multiple Agile delivery teams through planning, design, and deployment activities.
  • Mentor and provide architectural leadership to technical delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with clients and offshore teams to resolve technical dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Drive common vision, practices, and capabilities across teams.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities and align technology solutions with business goals.
  • Engage with Technical Architects and development teams to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and design approach.
  • Demonstrate broad solution leadership, influence technical direction, and drive innovation across engagements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional Salesforce experience.
  • Experience leading multiple Salesforce implementations through discovery, design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Deep expertise with Salesforce Core, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce and Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a consulting, professional services, or agency environment.
  • Exceptional consulting skills are required, including executive communication, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and strategic advisory experience.
  • Solid understanding of delivery methodologies and the ability to lead teams through implementation.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise engagements and influencing both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project estimation, solution design, and team leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and provide architectural leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $150,000 to $195,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
