Job Description

We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to lead the end-to-end deployment lifecycle and ensure our Salesforce platform is both scalable and compliant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building DevOps frameworks, optimizing deployment processes, and supporting system audits and controls. 
 
In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams including Admins, Developers, QA, and Compliance to ensure efficient, secure, and auditable deployments across all Salesforce environments. You’ll also take ownership of our DevOps tools and workflows, as well as coordinate and support activities related to audits and internal controls. 

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will: 

  • Own the Salesforce deployment lifecycle, including CI/CD configuration, version control, and post-deployment validation. 
  • Implement and manage a Salesforce DevOps toolchain (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Jenkins) aligned with compliance and security requirements. 
  • Coordinate testing and release readiness across Admin and Developer teams. 
  • Document and maintain procedures for change management and deployment compliance. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison during audits, supporting documentation requests and system access reviews. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of release processes and audit preparedness.

Qualifications

For this role as a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you must have: 

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, administration, or DevOps. 
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, or equivalent CI/CD solutions. 
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, deployment strategies, and sandbox environments. 
  • Familiarity with agile work management tools like Jira or Asana. 
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, particularly around governance and processes. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, SOC 2) and change control documentation. 
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, DevOps Center Specialist). 
  • Experience designing or launching a DevOps strategy within Salesforce. 
  • Background in supporting platform audits or working in a regulated industry.

Salary Range:  $99,500 to $136,800   This range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location.
