Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer with strong experience in Salesforce development and a track record of supporting cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) teams — including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations.

In this role, you will help shape and scale the Salesforce ecosystem that powers critical GTM workflows and business processes. You’ll work directly with the Director of Business Systems and partner closely with teams across Temporal to build scalable automation, integrations, and strategic solutions that enhance the productivity of our business functions.

This role is a foundational, impactful position — great for someone who enjoys both technical ownership and strategic partnership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and APIs
  • Collaborate with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) to translate business needs into technical requirements and automated workflows.
  • Build and enhance complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., Marketo, Gong, BigQuery, billing/CPQ, analytics platforms).
  • Develop and optimize Salesforce data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks that drive visibility for GTM stakeholders.
  • Partner with Release Management and Operations to coordinate deployments and maintain governance practices.
  • Support data integrity, security reviews, and change-management processes across business systems.
  • Document solution architectures, integration patterns, and best practices for both technical and non-technical audiences.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC/Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture.
  • Strong track record supporting GTM teams, building solutions that improve sales productivity, marketing automation, customer success workflows, or revenue operations.
  • Proven experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly and pragmatic solutions are key (startup, scale-up, or growth stage companies).
  • Experience building robust integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., iPaaS), and thoughtful data transformations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business impact and operational reliability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end — from discovery through delivery and optimization.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with machine learning/AI-powered automation (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, AI-enabled workflows).
  • Exposure to tools like Mulesoft, Workato, Zapier, or Mule ESB for integration automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD for Salesforce deployments using tools such as Copado, Gearset, or GitHub Actions.
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Admin, Architect paths).
Compensation & Benefits
  • The estimated pay range for this role is $125,000 - $175,000 depending on experience and location.
  • This role is also eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan.
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.

Employee benefits and perks below are for full-time employees, part-time or temporary positions are excluded.

  • Unlimited PTO, 12 Holidays + 2 Floating Holidays
