About the team

We have a team of over 55 resources supporting the full suite of the Systematics Products for USAA’s CAP, M&P, and Project Delivery teams.

What you will be doing

You will be working with USAA’s CAP (Current Application Distribution) team supporting the Systematics IMPACS (Integrated Monetary Processing and Control Systems) product. You will be responsible for providing consulting services to USAA personnel (e.g., advises USAA on new regulation, technology or system functionality; evaluates various technical and business solutions and makes recommendations to USAA; troubleshoots errors and inefficiencies related to the application(s) and related processes; advises USAA on functional direction and specific business issues). You will act as liaison with FIS Base Development (e.g., CIP process, client-funded development). You will support resolution of base issues identified during the staging, retrofit, and upstream testing phases.

• Demonstrates an understanding of FIS Systematics IMPACS applications and the financial services industry.
• Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements. Serves as liaison between business and IT during consulting projects. Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications. Defines product scope, objectives and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing.
• Maintains, tests and ensures system improvements are successfully implemented.
• Writes functional specifications and other forms of documentation.
• Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
• May provide leadership and/or guidance to other business professionals.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

• Requires six or more years of Systematics IMPACS (IM) application development/support experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree business and/or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.
• Willingly shares relevant industry knowledge and expertise to other resources.
• Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas

• If you have experience supporting Systematics Savings Time (ST) system, that is a bonus to the team!
