Currently, we are looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer to take care of our most challenging enterprise customers. The ideal Solutions Engineer is passionate about our Cloud Platform vision, can act as a customer's trusted advisor and technical consultant. This individual will work with enterprise-level customers.
Responsibilities:
Have strong business acumen to define and produce product architectural solutions
Provide pre-sales support and technical assistance for strategic accounts as well as technical expertise for complex architectures
Interface with technology partners and vendors to develop, test, and certify cross-functional designs
Be part of quality assurance testing and business use case testing to help identify, assess and mitigate issues for each product release and provide feedback to development teams
Prioritizing customer product requirements and requests
Engaging with product management on roadmap, release, and development
Leading technical solution design, testing, implementation, testing, certification
Providing technical thought leadership and industry influence
Leading strategic technical engagements directly with customers
Requirements:
15+ years experience in the communications and/or software applications industry
15+ years of technical experience in Collaboration technologies
15+ years in a customer-facing technical role
Expertise in UCaaS focused on Legacy and Cloud PBX focused global deployment
Strong understanding of network, infrastructure, security components
Ability to develop, present, explain, and evangelize the value and vision of proposed architectures and solutions to a wide audience
SaaS Collaboration sales experience i.e. web conferencing, cloud voice, UCaaS
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure knowledge is beneficial (Citrix, VMware, etc.)
Ability to design, develop content and deliver technical training
Create, present and document technical solutions
End-to-end IT systems knowledge
Industry expert level solution sales ability
Ability to apply IT Systems knowledge to customer solution design
Formulate and communicate a technical solution/vision
Understand Zoom partner and ecosystem partners, products, and applications
Mentor developing team members
Act as a leader when the situation warrants
Be flexible and able to function in a high growth environment
Thorough competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology, and product offerings
Zoom Communication platform and end-to-end positioning
Ability to communicate and empathize with all levels of customers – executives, end-users, and developers
Self-motivated with the ability to dive right in, be effective, and make a difference
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Holding expert-level collaboration certification or patent strongly preferred
