Microsoft GTM Specialist
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Strategic sponsor of the relationship between Microsoft and Pax8
- Be a Microsoft subject matter expert that is intimately familiar with the partner and customer benefits of Microsoft relationship
- Serves Marketing and Business Development Management by: Acting as overlay between Microsoft and Product/Marketing teams. Supports project management of Microsoft marketing, events, webinars and trainings, as well as, showcasing ROI back to Microsoft once projects are completed. Develops, manages, and executes with Marketing teams all Microsoft + Pax8 marketing campaigns and showcases value prop. Supports Microsoft Market Dev (MDF) Specialist with providing POE’s for submission of co-op funding. Identify and drive the creation of field and customer facing content (blogs, whitepapers, e-books, presentation decks, and other materials). Provide thought leadership on emerging topics and potential areas of growth
- Works with Microsoft and Pax8 Vendor Team on partner programs: Work closely with Vendor/Pax8 sales and marketing on vendor spiffs/promos. Bring Microsoft partner program perks to Pax8 partners. Proactively manage Vendor and Pax8 GTM strategy and initiatives. Develop effective programs and content that helps partners with MSFT solution education & selling. Take sales perspective to identify gaps in our core product marketing materials to ensure that sales is supported in influencing their accounts.
- Participates in Microsoft + Pax8 Events and trainings (e.g., explaining how vendors work with Pax8 training, setting up L&L’s/other activities, etc.)
- Be the ‘face of Microsoft’ in external marketing field efforts for the Microsoft portfolio of products
- Collaborates with Marketing to develop an annual marketing plan that includes advertising, public relations, tradeshows, and industry events that support business strategy
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key Microsoft partners (MSPs, Microsoft Execs, ISVs)
- Develop detailed campaign project plans, including: goals, messaging, calls to action, marketing distribution channels, follow-up activities, and success metrics.
- Champion Microsoft marketing programs, incentives, rebates within the Pax8 ecosystem
- Deliver monthly forecasts, strategic plans, and goals for Microsoft marketing and Incentives & Rebates program to Director of Microsoft Programs
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least three (3) years of experience in core sales experience, partner channel development, business development, alliance management in the technology marketing industry
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Partner Network
- Knowledge and deep understanding of Microsoft Partner MDF - Incentives & Rebates program and ecosystem
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Modern Workplace products
- High level of project managements and organizational skills
- Executive presence and ability to influence business leaders through business value propositions
- Inclusive and collaborative - driving teamwork and cross-team alignment
- Proven business acumen and the ability to be socially aware of others’ personal drivers
- Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort
- Challenger mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.S./B.A. degree in related field; or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $64,000 or more depending on experience
