Head of N.A. Account Executives
Direct strategic imperative aimed at developing a highly effective team-based approach with product owners on new business initiatives, building deeper embedded relationships with clients by better understanding their problems and delivering appropriate consultative-based solutions to meet our clients needs.
Overseas $70+ million in recurring revenue per year while focusing on upticks, upsells and retention across our existing client base of 1,350 corporate issuers.

  • Consistently review health of 90-day pipeline.
  • Provide increased forecasting accuracy.
  • Design and roll out team structure/territory alignments and compensation plan, including merits, bonuses, commission plan and KPI's.
  • Drive quota achievement and retention targets.
  • The team has generated over $20 million in new revenue since Q1'17 to date across a team of 9, including: 7 Account Executives, 1 Sales Specialist and 1 Sales Assistant.
  • Liaise with product team to recommend and develop new products, features/enhancements.
  • Create client engagement protocol - including 180-day Account Executive plan.
  • Begin client engagement 180 days in advance of renewal term. This is an opportunity for the team to engage and check-in with our clients and to gauge what their Ipreo experience has been like.
  • This proactive approach allows our team to identify potential risk in our book and put together a game plan with the product teams to mitigate that risk.
  • Solicit market feedback on new product opportunities inside and outside existing vertical.
  • Liaise with product team to recommend and develop new products, features/enhancements and pricing schemes.
  • Recruit, hire, train and coach new and existing sales team.
  • Ensure team follow-up on all marketing campaigns.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all NYSE subsidy IPO's.
  • Organize monthly call with N.A. Sales teams to share best practices and key challenges.
  • Liase with SalesOps to create more streamlined reporting in Salesforce


Education and Experience:

  • 3-10 years relevant experience in financial services software sales
  • 1-5 years' experience in sales leadership, coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to solve complex problems using in-depth sales and industry expertise
  • History of diversified financial services leadership experience in driving and implementing revenue growth initiatives.
  • Established senior level relationships with asset management firms, insurance firms, pension funds, wealth managers, hedge funds and outsourcers
  • Experience in long cycle solution sales with complex contract negotiation
  • Effective communication skills in conversational speech, writing, and public speaking; a personable and diplomatic attitude
  • Skilled in combining longer-term strategic thinking with a hands-on, proactive approach to achieving nearer-term results.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Willingness to Travel regionally
