Customer Implementation Engineer

Position Description
This Customer Implementation Engineer will be responsible for bridging the gap between the Sales and the Implementation processes; realizing and meeting the customer's technical requirements by gathering all technical related information. You will be a technical implementation liaison for the Cloud Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Review technical details (SOW, ICBs)
- documented properly and ensure SDC and Engineering requirements are realized
- limit order changes and questions that would require rework
- this review will decrease implementation intervals
- Assist SDC team to identify QuickWins, Special Projects, etc.
- Attend Technical ICB Calls
- Assist Solution Architects in information gathering
- Attend/Communicate with NetEng Team and SysEng Team
- Check capacity for zColo orders
- Complete Install Provisioning Worksteps
- set up VM's for customers who need assistance (from Support)
- Provide a technical point of contact for Customers - guidance
- Provide a technical point of contact for Service Delivery Coordinators
- Handle technical questions from NetEng and SysEng
- Perform QA worksteps from Cloud Support Team
- Complete Hand off/test with customer prior to sending to billing/support
- Provide post-install support for 5 days after order close
- Help to build provisioning standards for new installs
Qualifications
- Customer communication skills
- Post Sales experience (1 to 2 years)
- System or Network Engineering/Support experience (1 to 2 years)
- Attention to Detail
- Technical knowledge of the Cloud Products
- Troubleshooting experience (1 to 2 years)
- Problem solving skills
