Account Executive

We are currently looking for an Account Executive to be the leading force behind our growing client relationships in our Australia/New Zealand market. To put our products and solutions into the hands of the right people, we need a professional who knows how to connect - the AE will be responsible for proactive outreach beginning with lead generation and continue through all phases of the sales process culminating in sale win/close.
What you'll do:
Generate new business opportunities within Australia and New Zealand through a combination of outbound calling, emailing, and following up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries. Follow-up on opportunities generated by attending company events and webinars
Manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close and communicate any challenges or wins to the team
Gain an understanding of the prospective customer's pain points and educate on Granicus' value, highlighting our differentiators, effectively demoing the product over video conference, and guiding them through the sales process
Confidently run product demos for decision makers of companies varying across all levels of Government
Work closely with members of the team to achieve sales goals and work collaboratively with our Product Team and Customer Success Team to support and set expectations for customers
Travel within your territory to visit prospects and attend industry events as required
Who you are:
Minimum 5 years of directly relevant professional experience in business development, account and relationship management
Proficiency in Salesforce
Previous experience working with government contracting mechanisms and sales processes
Exceptional presentation skills
