Location: Remote

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CST
Duration: Through approximately December 20, 2025 (with potential for extension or permanent hire)

At HSI, we help organizations simplify safety, compliance, and workforce development through innovative training and technology solutions. We’re currently seeking a Temporary Sales Support Specialist to assist our Transactional Sales Team during a busy period.

This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibility will be processing credit card payments over the phone, along with providing general sales and administrative support to help our team deliver a seamless customer experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Process credit card payments by phone, ensuring accuracy, security, and excellent customer service
  • Support the Transactional Sales Team with order entry and invoice requests
  • Enter and maintain sales opportunities and account details in Salesforce
  • Schedule customers for MSHA training sessions and assist with related coordination
  • Respond to chat and phone inquiries, transferring or escalating calls as needed
  • Provide backup support to Tier 1 Customer Service when required
  • Assist with other administrative and transactional duties as assigned

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative work in a professional setting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling payment information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, courteous manner
  • Comfortable working with technology and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
