The Sales Support Engineer II supports the sales cycle by being a subject matter expert in AMS, conducting client discovery, quoting, and ensuring a successful handoff to the AMS team.
Job Description:
The Sales Support Engineer II, Application Managed Services, is responsible for supporting sales conversations as an subject matter expert in the Application Managed Services (AMS) space for clients during the sales cycle. This role will be responsible for conducting the discovery and ensuring accurate quoting during the sales cycle, sharing the value proposition with the client, as well as completing a successful handoff to the AMS team.- Sell AMS services to existing NextGen clients as well as new clients.
- Cultivate and maintain favorable contact with key stakeholders during the sales cycle.
- Speak directly with new and existing clients to discuss the benefits of AMS.
- Develop, Maintain and Execute sales presentations to potential clients.
- Demonstrate product or services and assist in the best application of products and services.
- Conduct discovery with client to properly scope AMS services.
- Develop and implement sales plans and activities.
- Maintain product knowledge about NextGen Healthcare technologies and stay up to date with the new Service Portfolio and market trends.
- Conduct a comprehensive handoff to the AMS team and completion of sale.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
- 2+ years of experience with services.
- 1+ years of experience with sales/quoting, support, or operations.
- AWS certified preferred.
- Knowledge of: Sales tactics; salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and AWS hosting.
- Skill in: Client focus, strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaboration, time management, presentation, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Ability to: Influence, drive, and develop a successful business strategy; present and facilitate decisions among senior executives based on evolving priorities; self-motivated and driven by targets, meet quota; resilient, maintain commercial knowledge and awareness.
