Job Summary:
The Sales Strategy & Analytics Lead will be a key partner to Sales leadership, responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness. This role owns the end-to-end analytics lifecycle for these projects, from defining success metrics and building initiative-specific forecasts to creating the dashboards that track performance. This role also provides critical support for scenario-based annual planning and addresses ad hoc analytical requests from the sales team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented analyst who excels at delivering the data-driven insights and compelling narratives and is capable of handling high-volume tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Execution: Partner with Sales leaders and cross-functional teams to implement tactical and strategic initiatives aimed at improving sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Analytics and Insight: Establish and maintain robust data analytics and reporting capabilities to track key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership through regular reports and presentations.
    • Strategy Development Support: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal performance data to inform the development of Klaviyo's global Go-To-Market strategies.
    • Market Research & Segmentation Analysis: Analyze market segmentation, identify target customer opportunities (especially within e-commerce businesses of various sizes), and contribute to value proposition development, emphasizing Klaviyo's unique strengths.
    • Performance Optimization Analysis: Lead the analysis of GTM performance data to identify areas for improvement in sales effectiveness, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, particularly for e-commerce clients, and identify new verticals for expansion.
  • Operating Cadence: Create and maintain materials for Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and Board meetings, ensuring visual consistency and accuracy.
  • Report Generation and Analysis: Prepare and deliver standard and ad hoc reports/dashboards, focusing on data accuracy, timely delivery, and alignment with business needs.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an advanced analytics or operations analytics role; prior experience in go-to-market operations role a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, with demonstrated experience building complex performance models and analyses
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to query large datasets and join multiple data sources
  • Experience developing and maintaining interactive data visualization dashboards (Tableau preferred)
  • Proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience preparing materials for an executive audience.
  • Experience with AI tools and technology and their application in sales operations, data analysis, or marketing automation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Our salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant's job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility. Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$124,000 - $186,000 USD
