About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Specialist to support strategic growth for World-Check, our flagship financial crime risk intelligence solution. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities with financial institutions, government agencies, and multinational corporations.

The successful candidate will contribute to complex sales cycles, engage compliance and risk stakeholders, and position World-Check as a mission-critical solution in the global fight against financial crime.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across North America.
  • Support the full sales cycle from lead generation through to deal closure.
  • Engage compliance and risk leadership to understand strategic priorities and position World-Check as a key enabler.
  • Conduct consultative discovery sessions to uncover customer workflows, pain points, and regulatory drivers.
  • Assist in developing tailored proposals and ROI-driven business cases that demonstrate solution value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with solution consultants, product, legal, and customer success to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and contribute to timely forecasts and reporting.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client briefings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of enterprise sales experience, ideally in SaaS, data, or RegTech solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding quota and contributing to complex, high-value deals.
  • Understanding of compliance workflows, including KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and third-party risk.
  • Familiarity with value-based selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC, SPIN).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Undeterrable will to succeed — The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional resilience. Rejection, long odds, and repeated setbacks do not deter their progress. They maintain focus, energy, and conviction regardless of the obstacles, consistently advancing toward outcomes others might abandon.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy — The candidate is adept at understanding and adopting stakeholder perspectives, enabling them to build trust, uncover real needs, and guide decisions that lead to successful outcomes.
  • Unsatiable curiosity — The candidate is driven to understand deeply. They ask the right questions, explore beyond the obvious, and uncover insights that others overlook — enabling them to connect problems to solutions with precision.
  • Self-starter with high integrity and a passion for solving customer problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Why Join Us
  • Be part of a mission-driven team helping organizations combat financial crime and protect global integrity.
