Overview of the Position Responsibilities: The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the development of and operational support for the Commercial Sales and MDU Sales teams. This position will actively support cross-functional teams throughout the organization by providing tool buildout and support, process documentation, and training. This critical role will drive growth by removing barriers and reducing operational burdens on leaders and the frontline.

What You Will Do:
- Interact with appropriate internal groups (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, and Legal Affairs) to ensure that all requirements are gathered for tool development, playbook creation, and other ad hoc efforts to drive standardization across markets.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise and sales proficiency to develop programs and curriculum in partnership with stakeholders for employees of the Commercial Sales, and MDU Sales teams for orientation and in-job training.
- Document all processes for tools (protocols in tools, user guides, etc.) to partner with training in the Commercial Sales, MDU Sales groups.
- Identify process limitations and collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to identify and implement time and/or cost-efficiency improvements. Manage a cross-functional team including direct reports, third party vendors, and other resources; coordinate activities to achieve goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for commercial and MDU sales operations, including market segmentation, target identification, and penetration strategies.
- Inform and create tool processes and road maps in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that work/escalated issues are addressed and completed in a timely manner and that delays/revised time frames are communicated to affected parties.
- Manage employee performance; counsel and advise employees to ensure compatibility, maximum effectiveness, and continued growth on a consistent basis. Address personnel issues/performance issues in accordance with Bluepeak policy.
- Ensure clear communication and handoff between Sales Operations Team and business partners.
- Role requires travel up to 20% of the time.
- All other related duties and projects as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years of telecommunications experience in either/between customer experience, sales, technical or sales operations, or project management.
- Salesforce experience required. Salesforce administrator experience a plus.
- Experience with supporting and influencing cross-functional teams and developing operational efficiencies.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize initiatives, project, and performance objectives.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Culture carrier who energizes, engages, and leads through continuous change.
- Adept at identifying potential project roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
- Effective time management with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in changing and/or challenging situations.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- MS Office Suite: Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Access, OneNote, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
- Software: ICOMS, Salesforce, Real-Time Results, Peakview, Ticketview, GoCare, and Front applications.
- Experience with reporting, creating tables, process flow charts, high level analytics.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull and walk.
- Required to use hands, handle objects and paperwork.
- Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
- Required to refrain from personal use of technology during working hours.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Required to lift up to 30lbs at a given time.
