THE OPPORTUNITY
The Sales Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in accelerating pipeline growth and enabling the sales organization to focus on selling by driving process efficiency, strategic research, and data-driven insights. This position partners closely with Sales Leadership and Sellers to identify new opportunities, improve prospecting strategies, and ensure sales teams are fully equipped to convert leads into clients.

This role reports to the Director of Sales Operations and will work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to optimize pipeline development and go-to-market effectiveness.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Support sales leadership in building pipeline as quickly and effectively as possible through prospecting strategy and market intelligence.
• Conduct strategic research using tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, BenefitFlow, Outreach, and internal data to identify target accounts and decision-makers, and ensure these tools are properly integrated and syncing accurately
• Analyze and connect data to uncover relationships and opportunities between employers, brokers, and bswift.
• Qualify inbound leads and ensure a smooth handoff to the sales team.
• Partner with marketing and sales to develop and execute outreach campaigns, sequences, pre-meeting briefings and lead follow-up from campaigns and events
• Develop company dossiers and research profiles for industry conferences and prospect meetings.
• Evaluate benefit guides and technology solutions to identify potential gaps, voluntary products, and tech credit opportunities.
• Support sales forecasting, reporting, and performance metrics tracking in Salesforce.
• Create efficiencies in the sales cycle by identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed information within CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
• Collaborate with Sales Operations leadership to ensure consistent data hygiene, reporting accuracy, and documentation of key sales processes.
• Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives across the sales organization as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Development, or Benefits Administration, ideally in a SaaS or HR Tech organization.
• Strong understanding of the benefits administration industry and sales cycles for enterprise clients.
• Experience leveraging Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to synthesize information and present clear, actionable insights to sales leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Collaborative and proactive work style with a focus on driving measurable results.

Specific benefit offerings vary by position and may be subject to change.

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
