Position: Sales Manager

Work Location: Cortez, CO, and Bend, OR Hybrid (work 3 days onsite

Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.

What you will be doing:

The Sales Manager supports the Director of Sales in all activities related to achieving sales goals, distribution targets, and overall objectives within assigned channels. This dynamic sales professional will optimally contribute to the relationship between internal cross-functional teams to deliver the best in market, channel, and category service to our wholesale customers.

This role is responsible for driving all aspects of sales strategy for the independent specialty channel – focused on outdoor, bike, run, travel, and lifestyle retail partners. You’ll work directly with select in-house accounts and manage all external sales agencies to support these channels and develop new opportunities.

As a sales leader within the Helen of Troy Home & Outdoor pillar, this role is intended to be a steward for the Osprey brand and may have the opportunity to provide sales leadership to Hydro Flask and OXO Outdoor.

  • Be the eyes, ears, and voice of Osprey externally to maintain and grow key relationships, market share, and retail partner happiness.

  • Drive cross-functional excellence and process improvement while bringing sales perspective to the table with our product, planning, finance, and customer care teams.

  • Contribute to expansion within managed channels that adds incremental top line revenue and bottom-line profitability.

  • Provide market, category & account feedback to optimize innovation during the GTM process, and ensure successful launches of new products within existing and new distribution.

  • Deliver ongoing market insights to internal stakeholders to drive effective decision making, improve operational capabilities, and exceed customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years in related experience

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

In Colorado, the standard base pay range for this role is $75,910.21 - $113,865.32 annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
