Are you a strategic sales leader with experience managing large, complex accounts? GAINSCO is seeking a National Accounts Sales Manager to lead profitable growth through strong partnerships with national agency networks. This role combines leadership, relationship management, and contract negotiation to drive production and ensure long-term success.
What does a SALES MANAGER- NATIONAL ACCOUNTS do at GAINSCO?- Lead a team focused on maximizing production from National Account partners.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for national agency partners and network groups.
- Negotiate commission agreements and manage large partner relationships.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in Salesforce.
- Negotiate contracts with new agency partners and vendors.
- Understand technical requirements and integration needs for national accounts.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and operational readiness for new partnerships.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members to achieve excellence.
- Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
- Manage staffing needs, recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Represent Sales in cross-functional projects and company initiatives.
Education/ Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) Insurance Designations required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years managing the sales process and operations within a territory or region specifically for a Non-Standard or Personal Lines Auto Insurance industry, including responsibilities such as developing sales strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and driving territory growth is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct people management experience, leading a team of sales professionals is required.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is required.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and managing complex accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools; knowledge of rating systems (EZLynx, Zywave/ITC) is a plus.
Other skills and abilities:
- Ability to create Salesforce Reports and Dashboards for team leverage.
- Ability to represent Sales on specific projects and share input about project/program design.
- Ability to influence agents and large groups, resulting in increased territory production.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic planning and disciplined follow-up skills.
- Ability to analyze product data and identify market trends.
- Willing to travel as required.
- Remote.
- Must have valid Driver License.
