The Job at a Glance
This is a ground-floor role at the intersection of CPG marketing, retail media, digital promotions, and healthcare benefits — a convergence that is reshaping how brands connect with shoppers. As Sales Manager, CPG Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and selling evermore's suite of CPG solutions to manufacturers who want to reach Medicare Advantage members at scale. You will be helping brands navigate and activate a channel that is new to most of them, which means you won't just be selling — you'll be educating, consulting, and co-creating solutions alongside both clients and internal teams.
This role requires someone who is equally comfortable with customer marketing and consumer promotions teams and a startup's whiteboard session. You need to know CPG deeply enough to earn instant credibility, retail dynamics and JBPs, and you need to be entrepreneurial enough to thrive without a fully built playbook.
What You Will Do
You will identify, prospect, and close CPG manufacturer partnerships that leverage evermore's platform to activate Medicare Advantage supplemental benefit card spending. That means building relationships with shopper marketing, trade marketing, consumer promotion, and brand teams at CPG companies and helping them understand the scale and precision of the Medicare Advantage opportunity — a $20B market where members are motivated to spend on eligible products and evermore has the infrastructure to deliver personalized, measurable programs.
You'll develop tailored proposals and program concepts that connect CPG promotional objectives — trial, loyalty, category growth, new item support — to evermore's carded benefits, rewards and incentives, and care gap closure capabilities. You'll collaborate closely with evermore's health plan and retail teams to ensure CPG programs are viable and valuable across the full ecosystem. And you'll serve as the voice of the CPG client internally, helping shape product development and go-to-market strategy as this channel matures.
Expect to spend meaningful time at industry events, in client offices, and on calls with senior stakeholders at some of the world's leading CPG companies. Expect also to spend meaningful time back at evermore helping build the infrastructure — the decks, the case studies, the pricing frameworks, the processes — that will scale this business.
About You
You have 5–7 years of sales experience working in or alongside CPG manufacturers, with deep knowledge of trade promotions, coupon programs, in-store marketing, and promotional support. You understand how trade dollars are budgeted and allocated, how shopper marketing teams think, and how to navigate a complex CPG organization from buyer to VP.
We will strongly prioritize candidates who bring experience in digital promotions — paperless coupons, targeted offers, loyalty-linked programs — and retail media, as these skills translate most directly to how evermore's platform operates. Experience in healthcare, OTC, or better-for-you CPG categories is a meaningful plus, as is any familiarity with Medicare, supplemental benefits, or the seniors market. Above all, we are looking for someone who is hungry to apply their CPG expertise in a space that is genuinely new — and who finds that prospect exciting rather than daunting.
You're a confident and credible communicator who can make a complex, unfamiliar concept feel compelling and accessible to a trade marketing director who has never heard of Medicare Advantage supplemental benefits. You're also a self-starter who can manage a long-cycle sale, build a pipeline from scratch, and contribute meaningfully to a small, high-performing team.
