ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
Simply Eloped is the leading elopement company in the world. Supported by our proprietary technology, we plan and perform thousands of ceremonies on an annual basis. We are located in 37 destinations around the US and are supported by a vendor network of over 850 vendors nationwide. We’re passionate about elopements! Our Sales Team Lead is responsible for overseeing departmental OKR’s, goals and leading the sales reps. This individual will drive key results related to goals and empower team members to contribute to said goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversee execution of departmental OKR, KPI’s and Key Results for sales
- Work with team to ensure meeting of monthly or half-year goals
- Collaborate cross-teams to establish systems & automations for sales team
- Interview, hire & train new sales team members
- Support and manage all sales team members
- Create schedule for phone, text and email coverage of all destinations
- Ensure sales team meets and exceeds monthly bookings and unit quotas as well as daily activity expectations
- Successfully manage a sales pipeline from start to finish
- Communicate clearly and articulately with in-bound leads prospecting Simply Eloped for their wedding ceremony over the phone, email and text messages
- Work towards KPIs for SQL and customer conversion rates
- Be a team-player and help out in times of high volume
- Have an adaptable attitude in learning new systems & technologies
- Be an ambassador and representative of the Simply Eloped business and The Knot Worldwide
- Build and maintain strong rapport over the phone with potential clients to uncover prospect needs and give a strong, crisp and on-point presentation over the phone
- Educate potential clients on the value of Simply Eloped and how our company will streamline the process of planning a high-quality, personalized, and cost-conscious ceremony
- Work closely and align with our Marketing and Product Teams on promotions, talking points, and value props
- Oversee Hubspot functionality and efficacy regarding automations for all leads
- 3-4 years sales experience (preferably in B2C sales)
- 1-2 years experience in management minimum
- Outbound and inbound phone sales a plus (no cold calling)
- Ability to work in remote environment and actively self-manage
- Attention to detail paramount
- Comfortable with learning new technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task and
- Driven and self-motivated
- Proven track record of closing new accounts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent grammar
- Comfortable handling difficult clients or situations, keeping calm
- Strength working independently
- Excellent computer skills (Hubspot, G Suite, etc) and the ability to learn new systems quickly
IT’S A BONUS IF:
- Experience in wedding or event planning preferred
- You have prior customer service experience; preferably with an online retailer or in the ecommerce industry
- You have worked in a cross-functional call center style environment
WORK MODEL:
This role is fully remote and not tied to any specific office location. While there are no regular in-office requirements, we encourage our remote team members to gather intentionally for key company and team events to stay connected and engaged.
