Role: Sales Engineering Admin (Salesforce)

Description: We're looking for a mid-level Salesforce Admin to join our team at Blackthorn.io to support our Sales Engineering team. You'll help build custom Salesforce Events, enhance our demo environment, and extend our product with creative solutions. Ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams and flexing both Salesforce and light web design skills.

Base Salary: $30,000+ 

What you’ll do

  • Build demo-ready Salesforce Events for the Sales Engineering team.
  • Customize high-impact event experiences for strategic customers.
  • Populate and maintain data in our demo org, including reports and dashboards.
  • Tailor parts of our demo environment to reflect different industries.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on Salesforce Events for campaigns.
  • Extend Blackthorn’s products with light customization or configuration work.
  • Support special projects that enhance the experience for Sales and Marketing teams.

What We Look For:

  • 2–4 years of experience as a Salesforce Admin, preferably with Sales Cloud
  • Comfort with customizing Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and Lightning components.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards and managing sandbox environments.
  • Understanding of how to build engaging demo flows for sales presentations.
  • Web design or front-end skills (HTML, CSS, light JavaScript) to enhance demos.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Salesforce Event Management tools or Blackthorn Events.
