Why Mitiga?
Mitiga preemptively detects and stops attacks before damage is done.Mitiga moves your security beyond configuration-focused prevention. In today’s cloud-first, AI-driven world, attackers inevitably get in. Mitiga promptly stops them. Our platform connects Cloud, SaaS, AI, and Identity into one panoramic forensic system that gives SecOps total awareness, attack decoding, and autonomous containment. The result: attacks stop mid-flight, investigations are instant, and impact disappears. We replace the false promise of “zero breach” with a promise we can keep - Zero Impact.
When attackers get in, Mitiga ensures they get nothing.
Zero Impact Breach Mitigation.Mitiga is used by many well-known brands to reduce risk, enhance their SecOps, and improve business resilience.
The Opportunity
This is not a support or delivery role. This is a revenue-facing, deal-driving SE position for someone who knows how to teach CISOs something new, create compelling events, and meaningfully move pipeline forward.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead high-quality, narrative-driven demos that clearly articulate Mitiga’s differentiated value in cloud, SaaS, and identity security.
- Co-own enterprise sales cycles with AEs—from discovery, qualification, and multithreading through close.
- Drive POV strategies that define success criteria, accelerate momentum, and secure the technical win.
- Surface and influence compelling events, helping customers understand emerging risks and the cost of inaction.
- Translate technical findings into executive-level outcomes, enabling CISO, security leadership, and business stakeholders to align.
- Act as the voice of the customer by proactively identifying product gaps, driving internal alignment, and ensuring customer requirements are addressed through roadmap influence, workarounds, or strategic positioning.
- Support partner-led motions with technical enablement and deal progression.
- Maintain a rigorous, repeatable approach to pipeline advancement, including meeting hygiene, next-step discipline, and opportunity documentation.
- Stay current on cloud, SaaS, and identity attack surfaces, breach trends, and security operations challenges.
RequirementsWho You Are:
- 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer.
- A cybersecurity-focused SE with proven experience in enterprise sales cycles, not just demos or technical support.
- Fluent in cloud, SaaS, and identity security concepts (identity misuse, cloud attack paths, SaaS compromise, token/OAuth abuse, logging/APIs).
- Strong commercial instincts with the ability to influence buying groups, manage objections, and help create urgency.
- Experienced in multithreading deals and engaging both technical teams and executives.
- Comfortable in fast-moving, early-stage environments where ambiguity is the norm and initiative is essential.
- An excellent communicator—able to simplify complex attack scenarios, articulate business risk, and build trust quickly.
- Disciplined in managing pipeline activities: next steps, close plans, deal notes, and sales methodology alignment (MEDDPICC or similar).
- A proactive educator who can “teach the problem” and frame why customers must act.
**The candidate must be based in the Central U.S. region**
It would be nice if you also had
- Experience selling Threat Detection, Investigation & Response (TDIR), MDR, XDR, SIEM, or Security Operations solutions.
- An established network of CISOs, security leaders, and cybersecurity decision-makers across the US market.
