Description

About the Position

Pixellot is the world leader in automated video and data solutions for youth and amateur sports, with over 25,000 AI-enabled venues worldwide capturing over 2 million hours of content. We're building the platform that keeps every game in play AI cameras, automated production, streaming, analytics, and monetization and we need someone who can own the field when a deal is on the line.

We're looking for a hands-on Sales Engineer who can join active sales opportunities and turn customer needs into working technical solutions. You’ll meet with prospects, understand their technical requirements, and build tailored proofs of concept using scripts, integrations, APIs, data connections, or other practical solutions needed to demonstrate the value of our platform.

You’ll also work closely with our R&D teams in Europe and Israel, so flexibility to collaborate across time zones is important. Internally, you’ll act as the technical link between Sales, Product, and R&D validating what is technically feasible, helping shape solutions, and making sure we set the right expectations with customers before commitments are made.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Drive Pre-Sales Prototyping: Partner with Sales on strategic opportunities to build and present working proofs-of-concept (PoCs).
  • Engineer Creative Solutions: Make rapid build-vs-simulate calls and run workarounds (scripts, temporary API bridges, data feeds) to close product gaps and prove our capabilities live.
  • Translate Tech to Revenue: Present to technical and business stakeholders alike, from CTOs to league leadership, so they see the business case and monetization value, not just a demo.
  • Own the Implementation: Carry the deal across the finish line partner with the customer's technical team to turn your PoC into a live integration and stay accountable through the first stable production release.
  • Champion the North American Market: Be the definitive technical voice of the NA customer to our Israel-based Product and R&D teams, turning field feedback into structured roadmap input.
  • Scale Your Wins: Turn every successful deployment into reusable assets demo environments, reference architectures, playbooks so the next deal closes even faster.
Requirements

You should bring with you:

  • A Hands-On, Scrappy Builder: You write code regularly (APIs, scripting, basic cloud) and have a track record of making undocumented or unfamiliar third-party systems do what you need.
  • Commercial & Executive Presence: You confidently present live to CTOs and business leaders, handle pushback on the spot, and tie technical architecture directly to revenue.
  • High Autonomy & Good Judgment: You can take an open-ended ask and run with it without a spec, while knowing exactly where the line sits between demonstrating a capability and overstating one.
  • End-to-End Follow-Through: You stay in the game after the contract is signed as motivated by a stable, live integration as by winning the deal.
  • Global Collaboration: Comfortable working across North American time zones while staying tightly aligned with an R&D team based in Israel.
  • Track Record in a Deal-Facing Technical Role: Several years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical account management, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong Ownership & Communication: You bring clarity to ambiguity and communicate with equal confidence to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Background in pre-sales, solutions engineering, hackathons, or early-stage startups (0-to-1 building).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience carrying a signed deal into production at a B2B SaaS company (implementation, professional services, or technical onboarding).
  • Familiarity with sports technology, video/streaming pipelines, or B2B SaaS integration patterns.

Why You'll Love Working Here
  • Make an Impact Where It Matters: Your work reaches millions of sports fans, athletes, families, clubs, and coaches around the world — from parents watching a Friday night game to coaches looking for their next competitive edge.
  • Play with Real Technical Challenges: Build technology around real-time video at global scale, consumer experiences that need to feel effortless, and AI capabilities that are changing how sports are captured, produced, watched, and analyzed.
  • Be Part of a Strong Team: Work alongside experienced R&D, Product, and business leaders, with talented people who care about solving real customer problems and continuously raising the bar.

·       Location: This is a hybrid position based in the continental United States that requires occasional travel.

·       Benefits: We offer a full comprehensive package including healthcare, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
