"It’s not an everyday opportunity to join a crazy-ambitious startup, and work closely with its leadership team on a daily basis. Is this going to be the most comfortable position in your life? Probably not. But it’s going to be the most exciting. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." - István Csanády, CEO

Why this role?
  • Sell a Product Customers Love: Teams building everything from EVs to industrial robots rave about our intuitive UX and powerful modeling, you’ll turn that love into clear business outcomes.

  • Shape how we sell: Partner with leadership, Product, and AEs to influence strategy and deal execution.

  • Own the Technical Win: Lead discovery, tailor demos, and design proof‑of‑concepts that convert interest into adoption across key markets.

If you like owning outcomes and solving real workflows with customers, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do
  • Lead technical discovery: Map workflows, quantify pain, define success criteria, and multithread stakeholders (operators to execs).

  • Design and deliver tailored demos: Craft narratives that connect Shapr3D’s capabilities to measurable outcomes, live and recorded.

  • Plan and run POCs/benchmarks: Build evaluation plans, curate datasets, track metrics (e.g., time‑to‑first‑value, rework reduction), and drive crisp readouts.

  • Handle RFI/RFPs & due diligence: Provide clear answers on architecture, security, integrations, data migration, and licensing.

  • Guide pilots and onboarding: Recommend training, migration paths, and change‑management steps.

  • Spend time on-site: Run workshops, plant/factory walk-throughs, and pilot reviews with customer teams. Expect frequent travel, with heavier bursts around POCs, go-lives, and events.

  • Partner to win: Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with AEs; collaborate with Product and CS; feed structured feedback into the roadmap.

  • Run a tight process: Maintain clean CRM notes, forecast POC stages, and communicate risks and next steps with clarity.

What you’ll bring
  • CAD domain depth: 3+ years hands‑on in CAD comfort comparing major systems.

  • Pre‑sales/applications experience: 3+ years in Sales Engineering, Applications, or Implementation (or equivalent customer‑facing technical role).

  • Storytelling & demo craft: Executive‑level clarity with practitioner credibility; you can tailor depth by audience and handle objections smoothly.

  • POC muscle: You design benchmarks, define metrics, and prove ROI, not just features.

  • Technical breadth: High‑level grasp of SaaS/desktop hybrids, SSO, data handling, and security questionnaires; familiarity with APIs/integrations is a plus.

  • Commercial savvy: Comfortable supporting 6‑ and 7‑figure opportunities and complex, multi‑stakeholder evaluations.

  • Tools & habits: CRM discipline (Salesforce/HubSpot), crisp documentation, and strong written/spoken communication.

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience.

Why you’ll love working here
  • Equity & Benefits: Competitive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

  • Massive market, untapped potential: Shapr3D is disrupting a $70B+ CAD and PLM market that’s been stagnant for decades. We’re not just iterating, we’re reimagining how millions of professionals around the world design and build physical products.

  • Ownership in a category-defining company: You won’t just be along for the ride, you’ll own a part of it. With equity and meaningful ownership in our journey, your success will directly reflect in the growth of the company you help scale.

  • Global mindset, local excellence: With our US office in Denver, our HQ in Budapest, and a team spanning continents, you’ll collaborate with brilliant minds from diverse backgrounds and cultures. At Shapr3D, international exposure isn’t a perk - it’s our everyday reality.

  • Office-first, collaborative culture: Work from our Denver office, fostering close collaboration with talented teammates across functions. You’ll engage daily with colleagues, brainstorm face-to-face, and build deeper connections to drive innovation together.

  • A place to grow: Work alongside some of the best in tech, design, and marketing, and be part of a team where bold thinking, experimentation, and continuous learning are the norm.

If all this speaks to you and you’re up for reinventing 3D design for the 21st century, we should definitely talk!
