Provide technical consultation and sales support for embedded wireless modules, SOMs, and antennas. Manage inbound leads, drive opportunities from design to production, collaborate with distributors and marketing, track opportunities in Salesforce, and support customer outreach and market research.
With general supervision, provide technical consultation in an engineering capacity and guidance in the selling of embedded wireless modules, SOMs, and embedded antennas by working directly with both customers and internal departments. Assist the customer in devising the best technical solution to satisfy their requirements. Facilitate the day-to-day inbound lead process and opportunity management. This position is remote and open to candidates in TX, OK, LA, AR, AL, GA, FL, NC, SC. Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Initiate contact and correspond with customers addressing pre- and post-sales activities primarily through emails and phone calls with territory customers with visits to close proximity customers
- Manage and cultivate all lead flow into the territory via the website chat, form fill, and the distributor channel in a timely manner
- Manage opportunities from new lead through the complete design process and into full scale production by keeping close track of the customer development plan and ensuring Ezurio delivers the right material at the right time
- Build and maintain strong electronic distributor relationships by working collaboratively with distributor sales / FAE at prospective customers
- Utilize engineering expertise to build credibility through technical consultation with customers during the product development phase and identify technical solutions that address customer pain points
- Support the field sales process by identifying new potential customers through follow up of the sales lead generation program as well as supporting market research efforts
- Work with Marketing to provide website and technical materials feedback for updates
- Analyze past sales to determine follow-up marketing opportunities that could result in enhanced company revenue
- Foster marketing opportunities by generating outbound sales leads through customer outreach
- Track sales leads and opportunities in Salesforce for modules, SOM’s, embedded antennas, and services opportunities
- Embedded hardware development process familiarity
- Very strong organizational & CRM utilization skills. Ability to develop a system to track many leads, opportunities & tasks and manage many balls in the air without being overwhelmed.
- Possess strong business acumen and savviness in customer calls to ask probing questions for understanding the size and strength of the customer, their go to market strategy, identify decision / pain points at a customer and how to apply our value proposition to them.
- Technical acumen on Ezurio products and how to position them. Comfortable navigating our datasheet to address Level 1 technical questions from a customer.
- Natural sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal skills; can quickly develop trust and credibility with personal approach and technical value
- Curious by nature and driven to become a top salesperson
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
- Ability to work well with others and to work efficiently and accurately in a team based environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering required
- Technical sales experience preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant sales, sales engineering or customer facing role required
