As a Sales Engineer at PIC Business Systems, part of the Fullsteam organization, you will be a key driver of the organization's growth by specializing in new logo software and services sales support. We are a leading provider of web-based integrated (ERP) solutions for small, mid-sized and enterprise-level businesses in the Window Coverings and Wholesale Distribution industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
    • Meet with clients to understand their technical requirements and business needs.
    • Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to customer needs.
    • Develop customized solutions to meet customer specifications.
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team in identifying new sales opportunities by providing technical insights.
    • Help prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations.
    • Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process, answering any questions about product functionality, features, and compatibility.
  • Solution Development:
    • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to ensure the solutions offered are viable and tailored to customer needs.
    • Customize product configurations or suggest modifications to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide expert knowledge of the company’s products and services to both the sales team and clients.
    • Keep updated on the latest product advancements and industry trends.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued sales opportunities.
    • Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Track sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
    • Provide feedback and insights about customer needs and product improvements to the relevant teams.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Highly driven and self-motivated, with a hunter mentality and a passion for understanding prospects’ needs, matching those needs to solutions and achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and sales metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with core business management solutions and the ability to quickly learn new products.
  • Ability to understand complex customer requirements, explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office, Experience using CRM software (Salesforce) and proficiency in sales tools and technologies.
  • Fast and adaptive learner who keeps up with latest technology and market trends.
  • Problem-solving abilities and creative thinking.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in software sales, engineering or technical support roles, preferably within mid-sized and enterprise level market segments
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
