Skillsoft is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to support onboarding and skills training. The Enablement team leverages competencies, technology, and process to support the rapid growth of our organization. We partner with leaders from the Go-to-Market team to develop a cohesive strategy and execute on a global scale. This role is integral to the Global Enablement team and will help us achieve operational effectiveness as we build our go-to-market function for the next phase of company growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding Curriculum Design and Delivery:

  • Create and maintain enablement curriculum for design, intent, up-to-date content, and timing
  • Define new learning objectives, analyze learners’ needs, develop content and assessments, plan blended instructional strategies, and create workstreams/deliverables to address gaps
  • Deliver onboarding to identified cohort, provide one to many or one to one coaching to support

Ongoing Skills Training:

  • Leverage existing and modify to suit specific cohort with materials related to selling skills and deal mechanics, including account planning, discovery, trust building, upselling and cross-selling techniques, handling complex customer issues, and collaboration based on specific learner profiles
  • Build assessments and performance measures into enablement curriculum
  • Monitor sales teams to ensure the alignment of training materials for both new hires and existing with the latest sales processes and strategies

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure the successful implementation of the enablement programs
  • Enablement program plans and results and delivered to stakeholders and participants
  • Provide feedback mechanisms and surveys to gather insights and improve the enablement initiatives

Skills & Qualification Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in Sales Enablement, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Experience in delivering enablement, training, or learning and development for customer-facing teams
  • Skilled in time management and working with teams across different locations. Remote position with ~10% travel and competent in various training modalities to educate whether individually or in groups.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Revenue Intelligence tools.
