Are you an experienced Sales Director that enjoys providing intelligence solutions for cyber security to physical security teams in the Defense industry? If you like working in a scaling organization with a mission that has real world impact, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. With Flashpoint you will help governments and public agencies achieve their mission of providing for the welfare of their citizens. This role will support Flashpoint National Security Solutions (FNSS), with a focus on solutions for the DoD.

We have a role for you if, you:

  • have proven ability to generate new pipeline and close SaaS and service deals in the Defense communities

  • have a track record of increasing sales to national, regional, and local governments in the United States

  • work closely with channel partners, Value Added Resellers, and System Integrators to drive sales

  • cultivate long term relationships by using customer centric solution based sales approach

  • effectively communicate across all levels of an organization

  • collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues to deliver positive experiences to potential customers

  • are a self starter with a strong work ethic, and can work with little oversight

  • negotiate complex Software solutions and service deals with procurement teams

  • make the best use of CRM platforms and emerging sales tools

  • hold an Active Top Secret clearance

What you will achieve

  • Within 30 days

    • You will have completed a list of prospects and completed an initial outreach

    • Introduce yourself to any current customers in your vertical

  • Within 60 days

    • You will have developed an outreach cadence leveraging multiple channels for yourself and the business development team

    • Drive Flashpoint’s brand and solutions through your professional network

  • By 90 days

    • You will have completed all the sales training on products

    • Started to generate new pipeline

    • Completed demo’s and POV’s with the assigned Solutions Architect

    • Be well on your way to closing new or upsell business deals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • an active security clearance issued by the United States and to reside within the United States, and possess legal residence

  • a keen understanding of government intelligence and/or cyber operations, which you developed as a former practitioner in defense, law enforcement, intelligence, or cyber operations.

  • a proven track record in government sales, acquisitions, or interagency experience

  • a proven track record in Software Sales with an interest in Vulnerability Management and Cyber Threat Intelligence

  • deep understanding of the public sector and government communities, including their operational functions and sales processes

  • an understanding of the products and the outcomes you are consultative selling

  • the willingness to travel to clients within your assigned region, when required

  • the desire to not only build pipelines, but own deals to close

Base Pay Range: $126,300/yr - $150,000/yr plus commission

Our goal is to have an offer to a candidate within 45 days from when the role is posted. Typically, if the team is interested in your background you will hear from a member of the team within 2 weeks from your application submission date.
