We are seeking a seasoned, results-driven Sales Director to join our team and focus on the Betting & Predictions category. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and providing strategic guidance to our clients. Your sales scope will include Yahoo’s full funnel suite, spanning direct sold sponsorship packages to performance media solutions, helping brands and agencies achieve their marketing goals.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract Betting & Predictions advertisers, driving adoption of Yahoo’s solutions and achieving revenue growth targets.
Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers at brands and agencies, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and partner.
Identify strategic partnership opportunities that command 8-figure investments and are tailored to the unique needs of the category
Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Yahoo, including content, business development, and product, on an integrated go-to-market story for your set of clients
Stay abreast of key category trends, regulations, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies that will accelerate adoption and drive growth.
Work cohesively with an agency development team to evangelize our offering at the media holding company level.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of client objectives and challenges, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-10 years experience in frontline, digital advertising sales, or related roles, with a preferred 2-4 years experience focused on Betting/Gaming/Predictions clients
Proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue targets and cultivating long-lasting strategic customer relationships
Exceptional business acumen, with a deep understanding of your category trends and the competitive landscape
Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with the ability to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships with C-level executives, and influence key decision-makers
Proficiency in sales methodologies, negotiation techniques, and consultative selling approaches
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving measurable business impact
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and AI-driven capabilities, incorporating AI tools and insights into your workflow to identify opportunities, optimize campaign strategies, and deliver more effective marketing solutions for clients.

The compensation for this position ranges from $188,625.00 - $393,125.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
