Who we are:
Action1 is an autonomous endpoint management platform trusted by many Fortune 500 companies. Cloud-native, infinitely scalable, highly secure, and configurable in 5 minutes—it just works and is always free for the first 200 endpoints, with no functional limits. By pioneering autonomous OS and third-party patching with peer-to-peer patch distribution and real-time vulnerability assessment without needing a VPN, it eliminates routine labor, preempts ransomware and security risks, and protects the digital employee experience.
In 2025, Action1 was recognized by Inc. 5000 as the fastest-growing private software company in America. The company is founder-led by Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, American entrepreneurs who previously founded Netwrix, a multi-billion-dollar cybersecurity company.
Introduction:
As a key member of Action1’s Sales Development team, you’ll play a critical role in fueling Action1’s growth by owning the top of the sales funnel. In this dual-role position, you’ll be responsible for both qualifying inbound leads and generating new outbound opportunities through cold calling, emailing, and social outreach. Your job is to identify high-potential prospects, initiate meaningful conversations, and schedule discovery calls for our Account Executives. You’ll be the first voice many of our future customers hear, so your ability to ask great questions, quickly articulate value, and stay persistent will make a measurable impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on hustle, embraces rejection with resilience, and is eager to launch or grow a career in cybersecurity SaaS sales.
Responsibilities:
- Drive pipeline growth: Proactively generate new qualified leads through outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, and strategic prospecting.
- Engage with prospects: Identify, connect with, qualify, and track leads across a variety of industries, with a focus on IT professionals and decision-makers.
- Hustle with purpose: Consistently meet or exceed key activity metrics and KPIs set by your manager, including daily cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Master the cold call: Use a consultative and confident approach to phone prospecting—clearly articulate value, handle objections, and remain resilient through challenges.
- Leverage Salesforce: Log all activities, maintain accurate contact and opportunity data, and ensure pipeline is consistently updated and forecasted.
- Stay informed: Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and cybersecurity industry developments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with marketing, product, and sales leadership to provide feedback from the field and refine messaging.
- Jump in where needed: Take on additional tasks or projects to support team success and personal growth.
