About the Role

The Proof Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first connection our customers will have with our company. Our lofty sales goals will never be reached without a smart and innovative team of SDRs. You are passionate about getting in touch with as many new prospects as possible every day. You will test new techniques and constantly search for new and creative ways to reach your audience. You will celebrate every email or phone call response. Your drive to connect with prospects is outweighed only by your sincere curiosity about our customer’s business problems. Above all, you will endeavor to provide value and assistance to everyone you encounter.

Sales Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing the Proof sales technology stack and your own creativity and resourcefulness, identify and attract new qualified prospects for Proof. 
  • Using your strong writing skills, draft and test sales messaging that achieves high response rates.
  • Partner with your Account Executive to strategize on which markets to approach and which personas to target.
  • Constantly refine your process, searching for new pathways to make your outreach noticeable in a crowded marketplace.
  • Develop and research value-added information to become a trusted source of information for our clients and prospects.
  • Maintain our Customer Relationship Management database, updating all activity and customer information throughout the day.
  • Meet and exceed monthly outreach and quota goals.
  • Become an expert on our products, our market and industry trends.
  • Leverage social media, professional networks, regional and national events to identify and attract new customers. 
  • Present metrics-based rationale for changes to process, product or market approach. 
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams offering solutions that benefit the company and the team.
  • Report progress-to-goal and define steps to reach your team’s goals throughout the month.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role
  • Results-driven, metrics-focused, strong sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Salesforce or Hubspot is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 15% Client and event travel

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary $50,000-$60,000 with OTE $65,000-$75,000 based on experience and location
  • Full-time, hybrid, salary position
  • Medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and 401k available
  • Flexible time off (paid planned and sick time, and paid holidays)
  • Equipment provided
  • This is a hybrid position with requirement to come into the Denver office 3 days/week. Preference given to those located in Denver, CO.
