POSITION OVERVIEW - The position is a remote position. No relocation provided, must currently reside in the USA.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) supports the Sales department through lead generation and pipeline development. This position qualifies inbound leads and proactively targets prospective accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital outreach to generate qualified sales opportunities for the Sales Executive team.

The ideal candidate is assertive, motivated, self-disciplined, engaging, business savvy, curious, and result oriented. Success is measured through prospecting activity, qualified meetings and opportunities, pipeline contribution, and consistent execution of the sales development process.

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Research target accounts, industries, and decision makers to identify potential opportunities.
  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Utilize CRM and prospecting tools to develop and maintain targeted account and contact lists.
  • Execute multi-touch outreach campaigns and follow up consistently with prospects.
  • Monitor accounts and industries for business changes, expansion opportunities, and buying signals.

Lead Qualification & Opportunity Development

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using established sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC.
  • Promptly engage with marketing-generated leads in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Engage prospects to understand their business needs, challenges, and requirements.
  • Establish rapport with decision makers and effectively communicate EAC’s value proposition.
  • Overcome objections and identify opportunities that align with EAC’s products and services.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings and transfer opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executive for further development and closure.

Sales Partnership & Product Knowledge

  • Partner with Sales Executives and Sales Leaders to prioritize accounts and develop territory and account strategies.
  • Build strong working relationships with the Sales team through communication, collaboration, and follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of EAC’s products and services, including PTC CAD, PLM, Digital Thread, and related solutions.
  • Stay informed on manufacturing, engineering, and technology trends that may create opportunities for EAC.

CRM & Performance

  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including accounts, contacts, activities, lead status, and opportunity information.
  • Adhere to established lead management, qualification, follow-up, and sales processes.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly activity, pipeline, and KPI goals established by Sales Management.
  • Continuously identify and contribute ideas to improve prospecting techniques and results.

Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives and market initiatives.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

Education & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, inside sales, lead generation, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • College degree preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • B2B sales or phone-based prospecting experience preferred.

Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn complex technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of PTC Suite of Products preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Manufacturing, engineering, or technology industry experience is a plus.

Communication & Professional Skills

  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, influence others, and overcome objections.
  • Strong organizational, planning, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with prospective customers and handling rejection.
  • Self-starter who is accountable, coachable, resilient, and result oriented.
  • Enthusiastic, curious, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to attend after-hours events and networking activities as business needs dictate.

Additional Information

COMPENSATION

  • Base Annual Salary is $55,000 - 60,000 for this salaried, exempt Full-Time remote position
  • Eligible for variable pay
