About the role:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you can positively impact children's lives. Our mission is to help children unlock their full potential by democratizing access to life-changing care. By opening dialogue with school administrators, you can discuss their challenges and show how online Special Education services have helped administrators fill gaps in service delivery.
To stay connected, all employees commit to being available on-camera during our Core Working Hours (Monday - Friday, 12 - 5 p.m. ET) with standard business hours of 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your local time zone. For this role, up to 5% travel may be required to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
What will you do at Presence:
- Make outbound calls to targeted school contacts and conference attendees to qualify leads.
- Make outbound pre-conference calls to a targeted list of attendees.
- Conduct thoughtful research on target accounts to turn cold calls into warm calls.
- Using your creativity and excellent communication skills, initiate quality conversations with target accounts.
- Schedule qualified business meetings for your account executive.
- Collaborate with your account executive to develop a targeted account plan.
- Build and nurture relationships with district contacts using thoughtful messaging and resources.
- Represent Presence at Special Education-related meetings and conferences
- Virtually deliver engaging presentations that allow schools and districts to understand better how live, online therapy sessions are conducted.
- Average travel time is 5% annually.

- Team player: It’s critical that you execute a well-developed success plan that is constructed and agreed upon by you and your account team.
- Metrics-oriented: You understand what your daily, weekly, and monthly activities must be for you to achieve personal goals.
- Objection handling does not scare you. You prepare for, practice objection handling scenarios, and use success stories to redirect the conversation.
- You will use the sales acceleration tools provided to improve productivity.
- Positive attitude and solution-oriented.
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM and sales enablement tools is a plus.

An employee’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry.
With a base Salary of $60,000, this role is eligible for variable commission, with a total on-target earning potential of $80,000.
Due to minimum salary thresholds for exempt employees in certain states, candidates residing in the following locations are not eligible for this role at the listed salary: California, Colorado, Connecticut, New York (NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties), and Washington.
