About K3
K3 is a Managed Services Provider (MSP), but that label only tells part of the story. We operate as a business advisory firm that executes technology. We help SMB owners and executives run safer, more efficient companies. Our clients don't think in acronyms. They think in consequences: Are we exposed? Why does this feel harder than it should? Are we falling behind? We answer those questions with managed IT, security, and AI implementation that ties directly to business outcomes.
The Role
You'll be K3's first dedicated Sales Development Representative. That means real ownership, not a seat on an assembly line. You will build our outbound engine from the ground up: developing your own calling lists from our ideal customer profile, running outreach, refining what works, and booking discovery calls with qualified prospects.
There is no script handed to you and no manager checking your dials every hour. You'll report to our COO, but you'll manage your own pipeline, your own process, and your own day. If you need structure imposed on you to perform, this is not your role. If you build your own structure and hit your numbers wherever you are, keep reading.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain prospect lists targeting SMB owners and executives (20-200 employees) in AEC, CPA, legal, creative agency, and manufacturing firms across the Denver metro area
- Run outbound outreach across cold calls, email, and LinkedIn, and iterate on your process based on what the data tells you
- Book qualified discovery calls for our leadership team, ensuring prospects fit our ICP and show up
- Keep the CRM clean and current so nothing falls through the cracks
- Report on what's working, what isn't, and what you're changing, without being asked
- Recommend better tools or processes when you see ROI. If you've used something that works, we'll listen
What Success Looks Like
Booking 4-5 qualified meetings per month with decision makers who fit our profile and show up. You should already have a track record of hitting that number consistently. We'll ask about it, and we'd love for you to walk us through how you did it.
Who You Are
- 2-4 years of SDR or outbound sales experience, ideally selling managed services, IT, or professional services to business owners or executives
- A documented history of consistently booking 4-5+ qualified meetings per month
- Extremely self-sufficient. You've succeeded with minimal oversight and can describe the systems you built to do it
- Comfortable building lists and processes from scratch, not just working leads someone else sourced
- A clear, confident communicator who can hold a conversation with a CEO or managing partner without leaning on jargon
- Located in the Denver metro area, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule
- Bonus: familiarity with Zoho CRM, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. We're flexible on tools if you can show what worked for you
Where This Role Goes
We're hiring for more than dials. As you prove out the outbound engine, this role can evolve into a field-facing business development position: representing K3 at industry events, visiting prospects in person, and becoming the face of K3 in your market. If you want a career path that goes beyond the phone, this is it.
Compensation & Benefits
- $50,000 - $60,000 base salary
- Bonus for each qualified meeting booked and held
- Commission on closed deals
- Health, dental, and life insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off
How to Apply
Send us your resume along with a short note answering one question: how did you consistently book qualified meetings in your last role? Specifics beat polish.
