About the role

The role of the Sales Development Representative is to seek out new business opportunities in the Multifamily Rentals industry via outbound prospecting. The role requires a strong approach, a high-level work ethic, and a hunter mentality. Prior experience generating leads through email campaigns and cold calling is crucial for excelling in this position and achieving critical sales metrics. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with partners, starting from the first interaction until our Sales Executives close the deal.. You will get to: 

  • Drive appointments for top-line revenue by setting acquisition appointments for Sales Executives

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails (100+ dials/day)

  • Execute consistent outbound outreach to engage new prospects and generate qualified interest

  • Localize your knowledge of trends, market conditions, and advertising tendencies based on market

  • Execute against the MEDDPICC sales process and adopt Challenger principles in every customer interaction to drive insight-led, value-based conversations

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $23.30 - $37.30 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $22.20 - $35.40 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  •  6+ months of appointment setting and/or inside sales experience

  • Possess high energy and a strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude via the phone and in person

  • High ethical values, professionalism and integrity

  • Ability to prioritize and apply effective time management

  • Highly proficient in the Google suite of tools

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Highly proficient in the Google suite of tools

  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred

  • Ability to travel 2-3 times per year for company events
