POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a driven and tech-savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will focus on enterprise outreach, identifying and engaging high-value prospects to build a robust pipeline for our enterprise AI solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, understands how to leverage software and AI tools to enhance outreach efforts, and thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You’ll play a key role in connecting Veritone’s cutting-edge AI platform with enterprise decision-makers, setting the stage for transformative business relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Enterprise Prospecting: Research and identify target accounts within enterprise organizations, focusing on key industries such as consumer packaged goods, travel, beauty and more. Build and maintain a list of decision-makers (C-level, VPs, Directors) to engage.  

Outbound Outreach: Execute personalized, multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate interest and secure meetings with qualified enterprise prospects.  

Leverage Technology: Utilize CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), sales enablement tools (e.g., Outreach, Apollo), and AI-driven prospecting tools to optimize lead generation, track engagement, and refine outreach strategies.  

Qualify Leads: Conduct discovery conversations to assess prospect needs, identify pain points, and qualify opportunities, passing high-potential leads to Account Executives.  

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing to align on target personas and campaigns, and work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and thorough prospect context.  

Stay Ahead of Trends: Maintain a strong understanding of Veritone’s AI offerings, competitive landscape, and industry trends to articulate value propositions tailored to enterprise needs.  

Data-Driven Approach: Monitor and analyze outreach performance metrics, leveraging insights from software and AI tools to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and hit pipeline goals.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or outbound sales role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment targeting enterprise clients. 

 

Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, HubSpot), and familiarity with AI-powered tools for prospecting or analytics.  

Enterprise Mindset: Proven ability to navigate complex organizations, engage senior-level stakeholders, and understand enterprise buying cycles.  

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, personalized messages that resonate with sophisticated buyers.  

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-evolving tech landscape, with a curiosity for learning how AI and software can enhance sales processes.  

Team Player: Collaborative spirit with a track record of working effectively with sales, marketing, and product teams.  

Results-Oriented: Motivated by hitting and exceeding quotas, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and pipeline growth.
