Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Development Director for the Western United States Region.  The right candidate can live anywhere near the Denver metropolitan area.


Job Description:

As an individually contributing sales representative of a major storage and organization manufacturer, the Sales Development Director (SDD) is responsible for developing and managing the growth of independent dealers serving both the single family and multifamily markets in our Western region. The SDD will represent the organization and product lines while educating the dealer, single family, and multifamily market members about our products, programs, and opportunities in storage and organization. The primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Target and sell new dealer & builder partners
  • Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with existing dealers
  • Sell on the quality of our products, innovation in both product and technology platforms, and accelerate the transition of builders and owner-developers to upgraded storage options
  • Network and build relationships with Single Family and Multi-family owners, architects, general contractors, builders, and installing dealers in the territory and sell them on Organized Living products and programs.
  • Travel in-market to all key current and prospective customers on a regular basis
Qualifications

Required:

  • 5-10 years sales experience (at a minimum)
  • Experience in these industries: construction, storage, and/or organization
  • Familiarity with and proficiency in the latest technologies, including presentation software, mobile, CRM (MS Dynamics), and other online applications
  • Willingness to travel (typically 50-60%)
  • Competitive, energetic, and motivated attitude – the right candidate should have a passion for sales
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, persuasion, and presentation
  • Knowledge of how to work with team members and leverage influencer channels
  • High EQ seller – we expect our salespeople to have a Challenger Sales mentality
  • Capable of both business development and account management
  • Must be an effective strategic thinker with proven tactical execution – territory planning is key
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience selling software platforms
  • Successful track record of managing independent teams
