Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting assigned distribution business leaders in the development of messages, communication of priorities, and operational updates. This support includes the development and execution of communications plan, which includes development of articles, presentations, facilitation of employee meetings, speeches internally and externally, and corresponding staff newsletters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop measurable integrated communication campaigns to include multi-channel opportunities to compel key stakeholders and the key sales audience to action.
- Provide a balance of strategic consultation and tactical execution in support of the assigned business area and corporate goals, objectives and initiatives.
- Provide target audience insights on stakeholder groups to help guide strategies and communications.
- Translate business activities and outcomes into relevant insights and content for core audiences.
- Develop the strategy and lead execution for the newsletter for the designated sales area. Must monitor overall engagement, develop strategies for deepening engagement, and overall process improvement.
- When applicable, bring awareness to business leaders and cross-functional partners regarding activities happening in the business area to ensure alignment.
- Oversee staff as needed, which may include management of internal and external communications resources.

Job Requirements:
List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications; or an equivalent in work experience.
- 5-8 years of related experience. Experience in working with vendors preferred. Experience in both agency and corporate settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, strong communicator internally and externally.
- Able to apply critical thinking skills to self-direct own work in support of broader goals.
- Ability to collaborate with others to find creative approaches and align to industry best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- A make it happen mentality; someone who is strategic, creative and has the ability to make things happen.
- Compelling content creation: ability to uncover creative angles and craft interesting stories.
- Ability to influence; will interact with people at all levels of the organization and need to be able to build trust and mutual respect with key stakeholders.
- Practices accountability: say what you do/mean and mean what you say/do.
- Compelling and proficient writer with strong grasp of AP style.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of value chain, financial and operational fundamentals.
- Ability to work with relevant tools and/or technology to execute job responsibilities.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range:
$81,500.00 - $122,300.00
