Title: Sales Associate I
Location: Remote-US (San Francisco- based)
This position will be remote, however, candidates will be located in the territory they support.

How You’ll Add Value
Support the designated Sales Executives/Representatives/Managers in their efforts to grow the business.
What You’ll Do
Create sales strategy with the support of manager for territory
Conduct marketing and sales independently in academic and small biotech accounts
Conduct vendor shows, lunch and learns in academic and small biotech accounts upon request
Generate qualified leads through proactive outbound prospecting
Follow up with new customers and reply to basic incoming price inquiries
Support field reps from the office including; retrieving data from internal systems such as customer relationship management system (CRM/Salesforce) and project data bases (CLIMS)
Prepare reports as needed for territory and account management
Lead generation and data entry into CRM
Work on a career track to become a sales or marketing professional
Qualify marketing leads from trade shows, events and campaigns
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
1-1.5 years of relevant Genomics or Synthetic Biology experience in a commercial role with a proven track record of success in account management, exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
Related experience recommended
Background in Molecular Biology
Previous sales experience preferred
CRM experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal are essential
Ability to speak in public and interact with customers with confidence and ease
Although this role is not field based, the candidate should be willing and able to travel 3-5 days per month.

United States Base Compensation: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications), qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
