  • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing programs and trade shows and conferences

  • Identify target agencies, courts, and departments and set account strategies, including multi-stakeholder buying groups (IT, language access, accessibility, communications, clerks, court administration, and procurement)

  • Resolve issues and handle complaints quickly and effectively

  • Demonstrate and communicate the Wordly value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Work with Wordly leadership and marketing to identify marketing-assisted sales campaigns for defined verticals and feed what you learn from outbound back into campaigns and messaging

  • Track outbound activity and results (signals actioned, response rates, meetings booked, pipeline created) and refine targeting and messaging based on what converts

  • Use sales tools like HubSpot to maintain a current and accurate pipeline of deals

Qualifications Required:

  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience qualifying and closing deals, including self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting, preferably in the public sector

  • Experience selling SaaS technology solutions to associations, enterprises, events, state, local, or federal government customers

  • Comfort with a modern outbound stack and a willingness to learn new signal and enrichment tools quickly

  • Experience selling B2B SaaS tech products

  • Experience with CRM software and MS Office or GSuite (particularly Excel or Google Sheets)

  • Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Coachable with strong analytical and negotiation skills

  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Excellent collaborator able to engage across multiple teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) and geographies to drive successful outcomes

  • Professional, executive presence internally and externally

  • Experience working with complex technologies

Desirable Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient with reading and speaking another language in addition to English

  • Experience selling AV Equipment/Services or Language Services
