Summary

The Sales Account Analyst plays a critical role in supporting our sales organization by managing operational functions, maintaining accurate customer data, and ensuring smooth sales operations. This position serves as the backbone of our sales team, enabling account executives to focus on building relationships and closing deals while ensuring exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

Sales Support & Administration

  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Process sales orders, contracts, and pricing requests with attention to detail
  • Coordinate proposal development and RFP responses with sales and technical teams
  • Prepare sales reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for leadership review

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing on lead management and campaign tracking
  • Coordinate with Finance on pricing, billing, and contract terms
  • Partner with Customer Success teams on account transitions and renewals
  • Support Legal teams with contract reviews and compliance requirements

Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong data management and analysis capabilities with attention to accuracy
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and reporting platforms
  • Basic understanding of Workday ecosystem and BPaaS solutions (preferred)

Communication & Organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented approach with commitment to data integrity and process adherence
  • Customer service mindset with problem-solving orientation

Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in B2B software or professional services environment
  • Workday certification or familiarity with HR/Payroll systems
  • Previous sales support or account management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Strong computer skills including advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Professional communication skills for customer-facing interactions
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs
