How you'll make an impact
Possess the ability to make sense of complex information to effectively solve problems, reaching out to mentors for guidance when necessary and providing mentoring to Associate and Level I Engineers who may require it.
Spend 5% of their time focusing on developing corporate strategy, assisting with brand identity, and support operations.
Spend 10% of their time focusing on training and fine-tuning skills.
Spend 85% of their time on engagement delivery.
Execute all tasks outlined in the scope of work and follow standard operating procedures with minimal oversight.
Work with clients to analyze and understand their needs and objectives.
Collaborate with Senior Engineers on more complex engagements.
Aid Associate and Level I Engineers on sophisticated tasking.
Prepare to lead technical discussions with the client in the event a Senior Engineer is not present on an engagement.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during and after project implementation.
Serve as a level of mentorship for Associate and Level I Engineers.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams or engineers as necessary.
Document project progress, issues, and resolutions in a concise and timely manner.
Consistently self-review work to identify and improve approaches for producing high-quality work.
What we're looking for
Currently holds a TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph required.
Full-scope poly preferred.
Experience operating in classified environments.
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or at least 8 years of related work experience.
Robust understanding of identity, SIEM, cybersecurity, and infrastructure concepts.
Experience deploying, maintaining, and sustaining SailPoint identity management solutions required.
Strong JAVA development experience required.
Experience with Radiant Logic, Ping and Delinea solutions preferred.
Security related certification (CISSP, Security+, CASP, etc) required.
Strong understanding of governance and compliance, specifically with FAR, DFARs, CUI and CMMC.
Broad understanding of FedRAMP and IL constructs.
Strong understanding of leadership concepts and ideas.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience leading an engineering team, preferably having handled tasking, resolving personnel issues, and providing actionable feedback.
Ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention.
Open to government workers and/or government experience.

Salary Range Description
$134,600.00 - $184,500.00 AnnualThe Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan. Optiv offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, of which salary is a component.
