The SAIL (Sailor Assistance and Intercept for Life) Case Manager Supervisor oversees and coordinates SAIL tasks, ensuring timely, high-quality services. **This position is remote; however, we are seeking candidates who live on the East Coast (SouthEast, NorthEast)

MUST be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Oversees day-to-day operations of the SAIL (Sailor Assistance and Intercept for Life) case management team, provides clinical supervision, and ensures continuous improvement in service delivery

  • Leads, guides, and supervises SAIL case managers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to NFFSP (Navy Fleet and Family Support Program) standards

  • Facilitates team meetings and one-on-one supervision to review complex cases and provide professional development

  • Monitor the performance of SAIL case managers, providing feedback, performance evaluations, and coaching

  • Monitor and manage caseloads to ensure all Sailors identified for the SAIL program receive appropriate intervention and follow-up care

  • Ensures case management services are documented accurately and in compliance with NFFSP protocols in FFSMIS (Fleet and Family Support Management Information System)

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of SAIL service delivery

  • Collaborate with all NFFSP functional areas, command leadership, and medical providers to coordinate comprehensive support for Sailors at risk for suicide

  • Represent the SAIL program in meetings, briefings, and working groups, providing expert input on suicide prevention and case management strategies

  • Implement quality assurance measures to monitor the effectiveness of the SAIL program and ensure compliance with Navy standards and ethical guidelines

  • Conduct regular audits and case reviews of documentation, case management files, and service delivery processes to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to the SAIL program, including service utilization, outcomes, and trends

  • Ensure that all required reports are completed accurately and submitted on time to NFFSP leadership and stakeholders

  • Use data to identify areas for program improvement and inform decision-making at the leadership level

Requirements

  • Must meet or exceed the requirements for Tier III qualified clinical practitioners, including a Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, and a one-year clinical internship accredited by APA.

  • Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted clinical license from a state or U.S. territory authorizing independent clinical practice in counseling, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical/counseling psychology.

  • Must have two years, full-time clinical experience post-independent licensure or certification, and at least 5 years' specialized experience in providing clinical counseling supervision for a program of similar scope and scale.

This position supports the Navy Fleet and Family Support contract. NFFS  delivers comprehensive Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) services worldwide, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for active-duty Sailors, retirees, eligible civilians overseas, and their families. The program implements, evaluates, and continually refines established FFSP offerings—developing the concepts, structures, and processes needed to maximize well-being across all installations. Key objectives include providing global staffing to supplement existing FFSP personnel through remote or surge/on-demand support, and delivering webinar hosting, production, and facilitation via a robust learning-management system.

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
