The Strategic Client Director (SCD) plays a pivotal role in RSA’s Strategic Client Group, owning relationships with some of the largest and most security-conscious financial institutions in the world.
This individual will act as a trusted advisor and growth leader, driving RSA’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Governance & Lifecycle (G&L) solutions into executive-level strategic initiatives. The SCD will partner cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver measurable business value and long-term security outcomes for clients.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary executive relationship owner for a portfolio of top-tier financial services clients.
- Lead multi-year strategic account planning focused on identity modernization, Zero Trust, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive adoption and expansion of RSA’s Unified Identity Platform, including Authentication, Access Management, G&L, and Identity Risk Intelligence.
- Translate complex IAM and G&L requirements into business outcomes that align with customer priorities such as compliance, fraud reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with RSA engineering and services teams to ensure seamless implementation and governance alignment across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Engage at the CISO, CIO, and Line of Business (LOB) levels to define identity strategies, justify ROI, and articulate the value of RSA’s solutions in mission-critical environments.
- Leverage deep domain expertise in financial regulatory compliance (FFIEC, GLBA, SOX, NIST 800-207, PCI DSS) to consult and guide customers through modernization and audit readiness.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account growth strategies, including cross-sell, upsell, and renewal plays, to exceed revenue targets.
- Mentor and lead cross-functional deal teams to deliver customer success and retention excellence.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Security, or a related discipline. MBA or technical graduate degree preferred.
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years in IAM, IGA, or cybersecurity software sales.
- Demonstrated success managing Fortune 500 financial services accounts, navigating complex buying centers and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Deep knowledge of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Lifecycle Management, SSO, Passwordless Authentication, Risk-Based Access, and Compliance Frameworks.
- Proven ability to engage C-level executives and align IAM strategies with enterprise risk and digital transformation goals.
- Strong business acumen, consultative selling, and executive communication skills.
- Track record of quota overachievement, multi-million-dollar deal cycles, and strategic account expansion.
- Experience leading matrixed teams across presales, delivery, and partner ecosystems.
- Familiarity with competitive landscape: Okta, SailPoint, Ping, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, and others.
