About the Role

We're looking for a Rich Media Designer to join our global team. You'll translate high-level client direction into engaging interactive ads, take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, and become an expert on PLAY, our no-code playable builder.

You will leverage our suite of AI features to build high performing playables, move faster and challenge whats possible. You'll pitch and demo concepts in client-facing meetings, collaborate cross-functionally with production, and bring fresh thinking to every brief.

What You'll Own

These are your core responsibilities

  • Campaign execution: Plan, launch, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns aligned with company growth goals, from concept through performance analysis.
  • Content creation: Write blog posts, articles, email campaigns, social media copy, and lead magnets that drive organic traffic and position CRAFTSMAN+ as a thought leader in ad tech and creative technology.
  • Sales enablement: Develop case studies, one-pagers, pitch collateral, and campaign materials that help close deals and generate new leads.
  • Email marketing: Build and manage nurture sequences end-to-end — writing the copy, segmenting audiences, scheduling sends, and analyzing results.
  • Website & SEO: Manage and maintain the company website — updating content, improving SEO, and ensuring everything stays current and on-brand.
  • Performance & analytics: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance. Identify insights, spot opportunities, and recommend what to double down on (or cut).
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Translate client direction into engaging interactive ads, owning select projects from concept to delivery
  • Pitch and demo ad concepts in client-facing meetings
  • Educate and collaborate with clients on interactive ad best practices
  • Become an expert on PLAY, our no-code playable builder
  • Leverage AI tooling to build innovative concepts and assets at scale
  • Improvise on concepts with little to no creative assets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Production team
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects against tight deadlines
  • Solve problems creatively without compromising quality
What You BringRequired
  • 3–5 years in a creative agency, advertising agency, or in-house team working on interactive mobile ads
  • Deep knowledge of playable ad best practices — file size constraints, engagement mechanics, tutorial design, end-card conversion patterns, and what makes the first 3 seconds work across UA channels
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating layout, typography, and animation chops
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A sharp ability to learn new software quickly — you'll go deep on PLAY and use a stack of AI tools that evolves often. We hire for adaptability over any single tool.
  • Comfort working with AI creative tools (image generation, prompt-based workflows, AI-assisted iteration). Our platform is layered with AI features and the strongest designers on our team treat AI as a collaborator, not a shortcut.
  • An expert eye for detail and pixel perfection — no detail is too small
  • Strong knowledge of image compression and asset extraction best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; you can clearly articulate your design decisions
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently across time zones
Nice to have
  • BA/BS in Design or related field
What To expect

This is a part-time freelance role to start at 25–30 hours per week, with the goal of evaluating for full-time conversion within 60–90 days based on workload and fit. Rate is based on experience.

This is a fully remote role on a global team. As a part-time contributor, you'll be expected to overlap with EST working hours for collaboration and client touchpoints, with production hours flexible outside of that. If converted to full-time, full availability during EST is expected.
