The ROPS Tableau Developer role is a developer who is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of visualizations and problem-solving analytics to ROPs through Tableau.

What Will You Do?

The Tableau developer will have experience with Tableau visualizations and will work closely with ROPS partners to deliver accurate and insightful visualizations in a dependable and consistent way.  The Tableau developer will work in a collaborative environment with analysts and other teammates on Team Excelsior and across ROPS to successfully convert ROPS reporting into a self-serve environment in Tableau.

Essential Functions:

  • Visualization Development: Develops insightful dashboards that answer key business problems and enables flexibility in a “self-serve” environment for other ROPS analysts.
  • Maintenance: Provides support, as required, to ensure the availability, accuracy, and performance of dashboards and backend data processes that feed Tableau dashboards.
  • Data Structure: Exhibits an advanced understanding of our data model structure, how to access data, and demonstrates best practices for data identification and accessibility.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrates ability to understand key business problems and relationship to the revenue cycle processes, then partners to provide a data-driven solution to help solve.
  • Administrative: Create and maintain documentation related but not limited to reporting, processes, training, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years related experience preferred.
  • Tableau developer experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: SQL Server, SSIS, Oracle, VBA, Informatica, Netezza

Salary/ Wage Range

$78,000.00 - $91,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
