About SafeLease

SafeLease builds and sells insurance products for commercial property owners. Our reinsurance and asset management businesses insure over 4,000 properties, 500,000 tenants, and have over $1B of AUM. Our team of technologists, agents, and underwriters simplifies complex risks to intelligently allocate capital and deliver policies quickly and affordably.

We focus on insurance products for the self-storage industry but are rapidly expanding our suite of services to other industries. We believe traditional commercial insurance can be distributed faster and cheaper. To do that, we’ve brought the entire insurance value chain—distribution, underwriting, and reinsurance—under one roof to drive innovation in an industry that’s ripe for change.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Revenue Operations Systems Developer/Architect to design and build the technical architecture and long-term scalability of our go-to-market systems, with Salesforce at the core. This role sits at the intersection of Revenue Operations strategy, enterprise-grade Salesforce architecture and emerging AI capabilities.

You will be responsible for designing, evolving, and governing a sophisticated Salesforce org that supports complex account hierarchies, multi-product sales motions, and a growing GTM tech stack—while actively reducing technical debt and enabling revenue teams to move faster and smarter.

This is a hands-on architecture role. While your primary focus is system design and scalability, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves on key RevOps initiatives —building reports, supporting commissions, troubleshooting data issues, and day-to-day internal system support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own, Design and Build the end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrated GTM systems.

  • Design scalable data models supporting complex account hierarchies, multi-entity customers, and multi-product opportunities.

  • Architect and govern Salesforce solutions that balance speed, flexibility, and long-term maintainability, with clear standards and documentation.

  • Lead efforts to identify, reduce, and remediate technical debt in high-growth Salesforce environments.

  • Design and optimize end-to-end GTM lifecycle workflows, including lead routing, pipeline progression, cross-team handoffs, and SLAs.

  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards for pipeline health, funnel performance, rep productivity, and customer outcomes.

  • Partner with leadership on forecasting, incentive design, territory models, and target setting.

  • Evaluate and implement new GTM tools and AI capabilities with a focus on data quality, trust, and architectural fit.
Drive adoption of GTM systems and processes through enablement, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Operate effectively in fast-moving environments—balancing scrappy execution with thoughtful, scalable system design.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce-centric GTM environments with deep ownership of org architecture.

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Application Architect / System Architect (CTA strongly preferred).

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade Salesforce architectures in high-growth organizations.

  • Strong Revenue Operations background with hands-on experience supporting:

    • Forecasting and pipeline management

    • Commission structures
      Reporting and analytics

  • Extensive experience managing Salesforce orgs with significant technical debt, including refactoring legacy automation and data models.

  • Deep understanding of scalable architecture for complex account hierarchies, multi-product sales motions, and cross-sell/upsell models.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and customization (Flow, formulas, validation rules, approval processes, Apex), with a strong preference for admin-friendly, point-and-click solutions where possible.

  • Experience designing and managing integrations, APIs, and large data volumes without compromising performance or governor limits.

  • Product-minded builder who designs systems for replication, scale, and long-term usability.

  • Strong communicator who challenges requirements to deliver the most scalable and effective solutions.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing GTM environments.

  • Interest in applying AI-powered GTM tools and Salesforce AI capabilities to real operational problems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting GTM systems in insurance, insurtech, fintech, or other operationally complex or regulated industries.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with data warehouses and analytics platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Looker, Metabase, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CPQ, billing, or policy administration systems.

  • Experience scaling GTM systems from mid-market to enterprise.

  • Strong passion for automation, system performance, and continuous improvement.
