About the Role:

Our Revenue Analytics internship is a 12-week hybrid summer experience focused on making a significant impact on our customers by being embedded directly into our Revenue Operations team. Each intern is paired with a dedicated mentor and a team manager, providing guidance and support as they make immediate contributions to the team’s roadmap, directly advancing Gusto’s mission.

You will be at the nexus of Revenue Operations, partnering with Sales Operations, Finance, and other functions, while directly supporting Sales Leadership and frontline sales teams. Your work will drive actionable insights that enhance sales productivity, customer experience, and Gusto’s overall acquisition targets.

About the Team:

If you’re ready to hone your Analytics skills with far-reaching effects on our modern economy, we’d love for you to join Gusto this summer!

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day (and we’ll support you so you’re great at it):

  • Utilize data to drive actionable insights that enhance the productivity of Gusto’s sales teams, spanning customer conversion, incrementality of sales touchpoints, and segment penetration
  • Evolve Gusto’s data model to advance our sales reporting infrastructure and support regular read-outs with Sales and Finance leadership
  • Establish and measure best practices in Gusto’s Go-To-Market motion, in close partnership with Gusto’s broader Revenue Operations team

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • Students pursuing a BS and/or MS degree in Business Analytics, or a related analytical discipline, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2029.
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex business problems, utilizing modeling and analysis, through tools such as Excel/GSuite
  • Aptitude with SQL and familiarity with data modeling best practices
  • Familiarity and desire to innovate AI-forward workflows to improve the scalability of operational deliverables and best practices
  • Proactive and autonomous problem-solver, able to work independently, maintaining attention to detail. Able to manage ambiguity, resource dependencies, and timelines to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to distill technical or complex matters into clear and concise explanations to senior leaders and business stakeholders
  • U.S. work authorization is required. This role is not available for sponsorship.
  • This is a hybrid role and will require you to be in the office at least twice a week in our San Francisco, New York, or Denver office. Relocation assistance will be provided during your internship.

Pay and benefits

Our cash compensation amount for this role is $35.10/hr for undergraduate students to $37.54/hr for graduate students in Denver and $43.99./hr for undergraduate students to $47.36./hr for graduate students in San Francisco & New York.
