Retail Onboarding Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Onboarding Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the onboarding of retail partners, ensuring they have a positive and efficient experience as they begin working with SPINS. You will gain exposure to SPINS data, products, and services, assist with onboarding activities, and collaborate with internal teams to help streamline processes. This role is a great opportunity to build expertise in retail data solutions while contributing to meaningful projects that impact retailers across SPINS.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support Retail Onboarding: Assist in coordinating the onboarding process for retail partners by tracking progress, gathering information, and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • Learn SPINS Data & Products: Develop foundational knowledge of SPINS data, products, and services to provide accurate information and support during onboarding.
  • Training & Documentation: Help maintain onboarding guides, FAQs, and training resources for internal and external use. Assist in updating materials as processes evolve.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members and cross-functional partners (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to support onboarding activities.
  • Customer Support: Provide timely, professional communication with retail partners regarding onboarding steps, timelines, and requirements. Escalate complex questions to senior team members when needed.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline onboarding processes and improve the partner experience.
  • Data & Performance Tracking: Support the collection and tracking of onboarding metrics and reporting metrics to internal stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–3 years of experience in a client-facing, operations, or project coordination role (internships and entry-level work experience welcome).
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Eagerness to learn retail data and analytics solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce project management tools a plus.

Salary Range: $65,000/yr - $75,000/yr
