We’re Looking For A(n): Retail Marketing Intern
Location: Remote
What You’ll Be Doing: The retail marketing intern will assist with critical retail projects and help bring our brands to life with our retail partners as well as optimize our marketing materials to be shared with sales partners and internal teams.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Trends & Industry Updates: Scrape competitive websites, Amazon, and Chewy sites for best practices in images and media campaigns. Find social media angles on Instagram and TikTok that we can leverage to support our retailers.
- File Management: Assist in organizing all retail-facing assets on our shared drive to collapse redundant folders, group products together in bundled image packets and optimize for adding new online retail partners.
- Data/Metrics reporting and news updates: Assist with pulling monthly data, updating charts, and sending them to the field. Create the monthly “Golden Scoop News Letter” and establish a retail-facing newsletter that would be pushed through our CRM.
- Store Locator Updates: Assist in pushing weekly store locator updates across all brands. Making sure we have clean data. If we transition to a new vendor, be a key point person for verification that all uploads and brand store locators are working correctly.
- Tracking Asset Tickets: Assist in keeping projects on track by looking at existing Jira tickets for the team and keeping them up-to-date, and alerting if items are slipping behind schedule..
- Merch Portal Inventory: Scan the merch portal for inventory, missing items, and duplicates. Work with the ORMO team to keep accurate and up-to-date records. Make sure files are titled correctly and easy to understand.
Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva).
Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn.
Competency in Google Suite: Excel, Docs etc
Ability to track and interpret basic analytics (e.g., create tables and graphs with data)
Willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the role as priorities change.
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with the broader marketing team.
Creative problem-solving and a desire to make things more organized and improve processes.

The base salary range is $17-$20.
The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.”
